We’re thrilled to begin hiring trans people to work with us! All of our current positions are part time and most are flexible in location (you will be working remotely). Applicants must reside within the United States. We encourage you to apply to them as soon as possible because we will be doing selections on a rolling basis. If you feel you are qualified, you may apply to multiple positions.
We make sure our employees are paid at least $15/hour, regardless of their locations, given our current financial restrictions. Once we have the funds we intend to raise this average hourly wage.
As with all our jobs, we prioritize trans youth of color (particularly Black and Indigenous trans youth) in our selections but applications are open to all. If you are unsure whether or not you are qualified or eligible for a position, please feel free to contact our Program Director Harper Rubin at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Trans Student Educational Resources is a youth-led organization dedicated to transforming the educational environment for trans and gender nonconforming students through advocacy and empowerment. In addition to our focus on creating a more trans-friendly education system, our mission is to educate the public and teach trans activists how to be effective organizers. We believe that justice for trans and gender nonconforming youth is contingent on an intersectional framework of activism. Ending oppression is a long-term process that can only be achieved through collaborative action. We are the only national organization led by trans youth and the only one focusing specifically on trans students. Learn more about our history here.
